Our wooden pallets or horizontal platforms are manufactured according to customer needs, following officially recognized technical specifications and compatible with forklift or pallet jack handling. Madepal wooden pallets ensure the safe storage and transportation of your goods and loads, facilitating the handling and movement of multiple cumbersome, heavy, and/or bulky objects.
We are certified by the ICA to perform heat treatment (HT) on our packaging in order to comply with the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures, ISPM No. 15, which is required for all exports and imports using wooden packaging. We are one of the first companies in Colombia to receive the ISPM 15 certification.
Our pallets are made from Legal Wood sourced from cultivated forests (plantations). We are Certified and recognized by the CVC, the highest environmental authority in Southwestern Colombia, for our management of legal wood: “Legal Provenance and Promotion Towards Sustainable Forest Management”. Diamond Category.
Madepal offers two standard wooden pallet sizes in our production line, which, depending on the required volume and plant inventory, are available for immediate delivery.
It is important to note that we only sell pallets in bulk and for B2B transactions. We do not sell pallets for decoration, furniture, or manufacturing purposes.
The following is a list of pallets of different sizes and international standards for illustrative purposes.
These classifications refer to the number of sides from which a forklift can insert its forks. Double entry pallets allow access from two opposite sides, while four entry pallets allow access from all four sides, providing greater handling flexibility.
The "base" refers to the lower structure of the pallet. Single base pallets have a simple lower structure, while double base pallets have a more robust lower structure, allowing them to support heavier loads and stack more securely.
These pallets have extensions on the upper platform that protrude beyond the lower supports. These "wings" provide a larger support surface for the load and can facilitate strapping and stretch wrapping.
These are the most common pallets, with a flat and uniform upper surface. They are versatile and used for a wide variety of loads.
This type of pallet is designed so that both sides can be used as a loading surface. This increases their durability and lifespan, as the pallet can be flipped when one side is damaged.
It is important to consider the specific needs of each operation to choose the most suitable type of pallet.
