MADEPAL is a Colombian company specializing in industrial wood packaging, with a focus on reels and pallets.
Madepal has more than 30 years of experience in wood handling and transformation.
We are a Green Business, committed to the sustainable development of the country, the responsible use of forests, and the protection of the environment. We have been certified and recognized by the CVC for our legal wood management under the program “Legal Origin and Promotion Toward Sustainable Forest Management”, and we have held the Green Business recognition since 2020.
We are a carbon-neutral company, which reflects our genuine commitment to sustainability, the responsible management of our emissions, and the development of an increasingly cleaner and more efficient operation.
We are a company that cares about quality, and for this reason, we work under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
We are authorized by the ICA to carry out Phytosanitary Treatment for Wood Packaging – ISPM 15 (NIMF 15).
We comply with the requirements for supply chain security, which makes us a suitable supplier for any AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) company recognized by the DIAN.

Our commitment is based on the protection of natural resources, the optimization of production processes, and the implementation of sustainable practices that ensure responsible and efficient development.
We recognize the importance of conserving ecosystems and operating under principles of sustainability. Therefore, we have established the care of forests, natural environments, and the responsible use of resources as fundamental pillars of our organization.
To fulfill this commitment, we implement the following actions:
- Use of cultivated wood: We choose wood from sustainable plantations.
- Responsible purchasing: We acquire only legally sourced wood with the necessary permits and authorizations, ensuring that its origin does not contribute to the deforestation of native forests.
- Material optimization: We work with suppliers of dimensioned wood to ensure that raw materials arrive in precise measurements, reducing waste.
- Efficiency in regulations: We contribute to modifying NTC Standards, reducing board thicknesses and widths by 10% to 14% for better resource utilization.
- Reuse of pallets: We repair pallets for our clients, promoting reuse and recycling, which helps reduce waste.
- Efficient processes: We optimize our pallet and reel manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
- Waste utilization: We commercialize and repurpose sawdust and wood shavings as fertilizer.
- Natural drying: We implement natural drying and pre-drying in fencing materials, allowing us to reduce the use of drying kilns in 90% of cases.
- 100% sustainable solar energy: Currently, 100% of our production processes run on solar energy generated by our own solar plant, significantly reducing our environmental footprint.
- Waste reduction and circular economy: We implement strategies to minimize waste generation in our production, promoting reuse and directing surplus materials into new production processes.
- Sustainable packaging and plastic reduction: We constantly seek eco-friendly alternatives in our processes, reducing the use of plastics in our packaging and opting for recyclable and biodegradable materials to lessen environmental impact.
